The Anglo-Francais de Moyenne Venerie Blanc et Noir, along with the two other variations of the de Moyenne Anglo-Francais hounds were once treated as the same breed with the Petite version of these dog group. They were only distinguished as another dog breed when breeders saw the huge size difference among the two. They are less popular compared with the Grand and the Petite varieties. This dog breed has been bred since the 1800s in French. Pioneer breeders used medium-sized hounds
local to France and crossed them together, these are the Poitevin and Porcelaine dog breeds. The Anglo-Francais de Moyenne Venerie Blanc et Noir is the medium size Anglo-French scent hounds that have a white coat with black markings on their body, face and ears.
