About Tracer

Distance: 1,127 Miles
Tracer is a friendly boy who loves people. He was an excellent livestock guardian with goats, but he can go over our 5' tall perimeter fence, so we moved him to the house for his safety. He gets along with other dogs, and our barn cats love him. But he is NOT good with chickens. Tracer has discovered that being a couch potato isn't such a bad life, but he still likes to spend as much time outside as we will allow. We just have to supervise him closely to be sure he doesn't shimmy up and over the fence. We have 6' chain link fence around our yard, and he has no trouble getting over that, so he will need to be adopted either as a house pet who only goes outside on-leash or under CLOSE supervision, OR as a working livestock guardian on a place with really tall fencing, such as 8' game fencing. If Tracer sounds like the perfect dog for you, please complete the application on our website. Due to his fence-climbing skills, we will be even more cautious than usual in screening to find the right home for him.
