More about the shelter
Lost Paws Rescue of Texas was organized to prevent animal suffering, animal cruelty and to help educate the public about spaying and neutering their pets as well as responsible pet ownership. We dedicate ourselves to helping the homeless animals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area find permanent, loving forever homes.
Our first priority is always for the welfare of the animals. We try hard to match families with animals that will best suit their lifestyle, we want our adoptables to be in their forever homes the first time they are adopted.
Dog adoptions generally are $175 and Cats are $130. Adopters must complete an application.

I once lived in a world where I could weave dreams into reality. It was a magical place, but I lost my way home. I was so shy, I hid under a daisy, and when I emerged, I was here, in this shelter. It was a bit scary at first, but I'm getting used to it. I've always been a bit shy, but once I get to know you, I promise to be your most loyal friend. I may not be a puppy anymore, but I still have lots of love to give. I prefer a home without small children, as they can be a bit too much for me. But give me a chance, and I'll curl up in your lap, your silent companion, your confidante, your best friend. I may not have my magical powers anymore, but I can still make your life a little more magical, with my love and loyalty. So, why not take a chance on me? You won't regret it, I promise.
