A Doggie 4 You currently consists of two programs
1) A Doggie 4 You rescues dogs from kill facilities and unsafe environments, fully vet the dogs, then adopt them to loving families
2)The Hill Country Daisy Fund helps hill country rescues in by providing monetary support for adoptable animals in shelters who have a treatable injury or illness or low income individuals who need assistance with food or veterinary care in order to keep their pet.
Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested
All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.
Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

Salty Dog was found on the street. He is very scared and still unsure of people. He will need someone with a lot of time and patience to allow him the time and space he needs to start trusting you. Salty Dog will need a secure fenced in yard where he can be safe as he is learning to trust people. He would do best in a quieter home with 2 or fewer dogs so he can get the attention he needs. Would not be good in an apartment. Salty Dog is $400 to adopt, about 18 pounds, and 3 years old. He is located in TX and not available for out of state adoption.
