More about the shelter
Our goal is to fight for the plight of all companion animals so that none of them will ever
have to experience the horrors of being imprisoned in a pound system, where most of them are executed for the “crime” of being unwanted and homeless.
Animals entering our sanctuary will be given exceptional loving care and all the necessary medical attention whether short term, until adopted or for their lifetimes.
The survival of the sanctuary depends entirely on the support and donations from supporters, members and volunteers.
Through their generous giving we will be able to save countless lives in the future.
After someone has found a pet of her or his liking on our site and contacted us we will make sure to get back to that person as soon as possible.
We require a potential adopter to fill out an application.
If the application is satisfactory we will contact the prospective new parent to set up a time to meet with the pet. We also do home checks to make sure that the house or apartment the pet will go to is safe. The pet will be brought to your home at the time of the home check and if everything looks goes well the pet will be left with you. We are asking for an adoption fee and we also will have you sign a contract.
We allow a two week trial period during which the money will be refunded if it turnes out to not be a match. After the two week period the adoption fee is not refundable.
About Chili
Distance: 1,395 Miles
This beautiful guy is Chili who was rescued in the knick of time from the Downey shelter in LA.Chili is very sweet and playful, but can easily get over stimulated and gets very excited when meeting a new person and starts jumping. Chili is in need of someone who can give him the exercise he needs and can handle his very exuberant personality. Therefore we are looking for a very calm, alpha human who can be a leader to him, preferably with Boxer experience. We are looking for a home for him where he will be the only pet with no children. Once he knows you Chili is actually is a very loving and affectionate guy who loves to play, really likes toys and loves to play fetch. He walks on the leash like an angel but gets excited when he seed other dogs, but gets along fine when meeting them.
Chili is neutered, chipped, and up to date on all routine vaccinations. He is about 5 years old and weighs 65 pounds.
If you would like to speak further about Chili, or if you think you are the right person for him and would like to meet him please contact us at pawparent@gmail.com or call 661-724-0642
