More about the shelter
Ozark Homeward Bound is a non-profit organization created in June 2010 to address the abandoned and neglected dogs and cats in north central Arkansas. We do not have a shelter, but depend on foster volunteers to care for our dogs and cats while they await adoption. OHB will spay/neuter each cat or dog, give them all age-appropriate vaccinations and treat them for parasites before they leave for their fur-ever homes.
We do require an adoption application with references to insure the best homes for our fur kids. Close attention is given to matching the needs of a pet to the adoptive family. Not all who apply are approved.
Donations are always needed, and always appreciated. We also accept Honorarium and Memorial contributions.
Completed and Verified application. Fees will vary.
About Lady Oakley
Distance: 1,483 Miles
Lady Oakley is approximately a year to two years old. She is currently living with a professional dog trainer. She is house trained and just a wonderful little girl. Very loving and loyal. She’s pretty good on a leash, but there’s still working on leash training a bit. She seems very intelligent as she studies people. She’s looking for that human to be her forever person so that she could dedicate all of her love and loyalty to you! Her foster mom would love to talk to you to tell you all about this delightful little girl. She is being fostered through Ozark Homeward Bound and Harrison, Arkansas. Rescue pups are transported via the rescue network transport. If you’re interested, please include your telephone number in your inquiry. Applications are not given until after phone interviews.
