Our mission is to help as many forgotten, broken and neglected dogs find a home as humanly possible. Willingly volunteering our time, blood, sweat and tears to make sure they are rehabilitated and given a chance at happiness. No breed is turned away. No case is too severe. We are healing hands. Their Fight is our Fight!
depend solely upon donations from the public and grants for support.
All our board members and fosters are volunteers and the only compensation we receive is the knowledge that we are making a difference.

About Barron
Distance: 1,490 Miles
My foster mom fell in love with my gorgeous hazel eyes, my sweet personality and soft tan and white coat. She loves that I love to be held so she can stare into my eyes. My Foster mom spoils me rotten, but I deserve it. I love being here with all my foster siblings but mom thinks I deserve a home that will love me unconditionally and keep me forever. Crate trained, 90% potty trained. Working on leash work

Please contact app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application .
ADOPTION FEE: The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, Microchip including a lifetime registration and spay/neuter. PUPPIES Texas State law requires that we sterilize any animal adopted through this agency. This will normally occur between 5 and 6 months at one of our approved veterinarians at the expense of the rescue.
Children under 8 years old often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs. In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.
Approval: You will be notified via email once your application is approved. Once notified, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our approved locations. Thank you for considering a rescue!
