Meet Koda!
This sweet boy has your typical goofy husky personality along with the distinguished side of a malamute. He loves to play with his people and often gets the excited zoomies when the leash comes out! This boy isn't all play though, he is a sucker for a good cuddle session as well! He can often be seen leaning into his people for hugs and laying in their lap to soak up all the scratches.
Koda so far gets along well with both male and female dogs of all ages and would likely enjoy a home with another dog or two to play with. In fact, we would recommend Koda to a home with another doggy pal or two as he seems to get depressed when he is away from his friends.
Once he bonds with his person, he likes to stay close by your side. He would likely do well off leash if that's your thing, but he would need to be fully bonded first! His first home was with an older couple who adopted him as a puppy and was going to euthanize him at just over a year old for having 'too much energy'. Since he was betrayed by the only people he ever knew, he can be fearful, but it doesn't take a whole lot of time for his playful and loving puppy-like personality to shine through! He currently loves staff and enjoys talking to them from time to time, especially during breakfast. Does this sweet and fluffy boy sound perfect for your family?
