More about the shelter
Family Dog Rescue was founded in January 2010 by a group of people who have many years of experience with a wide variety of rescue and shelter organizations. An important part of our mission is to help families with children adopt dogs, instead of using breeders, as these families often have a difficult time adopting from municipal shelters because of restrictions required by the shelters. We rescue almost all types of dogs including bully breeds and we make it a point to provide appropriate veterinary care. We often take dogs who have medical issues, or are deaf or otherwise "less than perfect".
We require an application, an adoption fee and a contract. In some cases, we'll require a home visit
About Inky
Distance: 1,557 Miles
Inky is a purebred papered Tibetan Mastiff with champion bloodlines.
She has come into rescue because, like many Tibetan Mastiffs, she is picky about her dog friends. She could not get along with an older, frail dog in her home.
Inky is a fantastic dog for someone who knows and understands the Tibetan Mastiff breed. She is an indoor dog and would not be happy banished to the backyard.
While Inky is an excellent guard dog, she’s happiest when snuggling with her family or going in hikes and outdoor adventures with her people.
Inky is smart and easily trained. She walks well on leash and has basic commands (sit, wait, down).
Inky likes male huskies, malamutes, and other woolly-coated large dogs.
Inky is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines.
Apply to adopt her today! Adoption donation is $995.
