So we are here for you through the entire process, from adoption to socialization and training, to providing the education and support to keep your household comfortable and happy. And if you find yourself facing challenges that might lead to having to give up your dog, we offer solutions that can help you keep your dog. We promise any dog that comes into our care will never end up homeless during their lifetime.
Beyond Rescue understands that adopting a dog is where the relationship starts, not where it ends. Our community of dog-loving people goes beyond rescuing dogsâwe work to provide a safety net that helps to ensure that adoptive families have the ongoing support, education, and services they need to keep their dog happy and healthy and home. We started as a small group of friends who met inside the rescue community. We all bring different experiences, passions, and expertise. We believe our diversity is our strength and allows us to be an open-minded and accepting organization.
The adoption process starts when you fill out an adoption application on our website or in person at an adoption event. An adoption counselor will review your application and contact you with any additional questions. Once the application is approved, weâll schedule a meet and greet date in your home that must include all members of the family including any resident dog(s). If the meet and greet is a success, two adoption coordinators must approve the adoption, and then the final adoption paperwork will be completed and weâll collect the adoption fee of $350.

Brenda is a 2-3 year old English bulldog with a sweet personality. Weighing in at 30 pounds, she has a strong and sturdy build. While she can be a bit stubborn and bossy at times, true to her breed, she is also a loving and affectionate companion.
Brenda may be a bit timid around strangers at first, but she quickly warms up and reveals her playful side. Her little nub of a tail and wiggly butt are sure to melt hearts.
Despite her rough past, Brenda has come a long way. She was rescued from a local shelter in less than ideal conditions but has thrived with love and care. Brenda has undergone cherry eye surgery and was spayed, and with proper nutrition and a loving home, she's blossomed into a happy and healthy dog.
