Welcome Popeye to CCPAL Rescue.  He is a beautiful American Bull Dog/Lab is our guess.  He is a 3-year-old dog.    He came in with another female.  He is good with other dogs and submissive to the female.  He is nice to all the people he has met and we are working with him on his leash manners and he is doing great.   He weight is about 50 pounds and he is a little pudgy.  He just needs a little more exercise and a little less food.  I guess it is his pandemic weight.  ?  He is a really nice boy and will make some lucky family a nice companion.  He really is easy to handle.  He wants to do what you want him to do.   He could be in a family with kids.  We like them to be 8 or older.  He is moderately active so he could be with a moderately active family.   A fenced yard would be great.  He could run around a little and then be ready to curl at your feet while you read.  He is currently at CCPAL Rescue waiting for his forever home.  He can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the local transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.  His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180.   Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
