After she was given a 72 hour deadline, Asha (formerly Shoshana) was pulled from an Orange County Florida shelter just hours before she would have been euthanized. Local volunteers and a medical foster stepped up to save her life. She was found with a harness embedded in her front leg, which has healed very nicely, and is currently heartworm positive and going through treatment. Slow introductions with new people and new dogs is a must. But once she warms up to you, she will be your new best friend. She is highly motivated by food, toys, and affection. She stands for bathtime like a champ! She is very cuddly and sweet and always wants to be with her person. She is not a fan of crates, but left unattended is not destructive. She is pretty high energy with no clear off switch until she is tuckered out.
