More about the shelter
Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue is a 501 c 3 no-kill, charitable organization dedicated to the care of homeless, unwanted, abused, and neglected pitbulls, particularly those who are considered hard to place or with special needs. We will try to match the dog and appropriate, loving, and permanent home based on the dog's temperament & personality evaluation as well as the prospective home's vet & home check. Veterinary care provided will ensure that the dog is in general good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
Additionally,"Friends to the Forlorn" Pitbull Rescue Inc. takes pride in educating the public in the importance of proper and responsible pitbull ownership, spaying & neutering, as well as the humane care and treatment of all animals.

RESCUING EMMA
Emma was found in the woods at a park in Austell by a kind family. We just so happened to have a foster family available and were able to take little Emma into the Forlorn Family. Emma was adopted and returned as she needs to be the only dog in the home.
ABOUT EMMA
Emma is a sweet lady who adores her people and will adorn you with kisses. She is fun, loves to go for hikes, and she walks well on a leash. Emma is also a great swimmer and loves water activities. She loves a good car ride too! Activities are fun, but Emma is also quick to settle and more than happy to relax with the family. This girl is well mannered, listens well, and is not destructive. She is crate trained and housebroken, although she does fine being left out in the living room when alone. She usually sleeps on the couch or dog bed at night. Emma was recently cat tested and she showed no interest in them at all so we think she may be okay in a home with cats.
Our adoption fee is $300. All dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, on heartworm prevention, and are fed top of the line grain-free food.
