She loves her humans and will kiss you endlessly if you let her but beware they are very sloppy kisses. She loves her crate, we believe it is her safe place, but is now joining us more frequently in the great room.  She will disappear sometimes to her crate and will be found sleeping or just hanging out in it. She has full run of the house, but sometimes just wants quiet. She loves attention, belly rubs and will snuggle up to you if you sit on the floor with her or occasionally on the sofa.  Velma is curious about a lot of things given so much of it is new to her. She likes to be in the kitchen and is an accomplished counter surfer too. She is learning about walking on a leash, but can test you if she sees a squirrel. She can be playful if is suits her and gets along with our dogs and with proper introduction, dogs we meet in our neighborhood. Velma is an absolute sweetheart, and has lots of love to give.
