About Lily Beth
Distance: 1,958 Miles
Lily Beth is a sweet 10 yr old mixed breed. LB was surrendered to the shelter by her owner that had 8 dogs. She was shy of new people at first, so she went into a training program. In 2015 she was adopted and has lived with her person, 2 other dogs and several cats for 9 years. Recently her adopter passed away and Lily Beth has returned to the care of Operation Pets Alive. She has a group of dogs from her adoption home that she is comfortable with. These dogs help her to be introduced to people and learn to trust them. She needs a little time to learn everyone and get the routine down. She needs an owner that will take time to let her adjust and give her space until she is comfortable. She may need a few visits to get to know and trust you. Once Lily Beth knows someone, she is very loving. Lily Beth has been well care for by her adoption family and is in good health for her age. She does have a fatty tumor of her side. If she goes into a home with kids, they should be older, so they are able to give her space until she gets to know them. She is crate and leash trained and house broken. She has great focus, is treat driven, and will make a great companion.
