Meet Elsa! This sweet 3-year-old Elkhound/Shepherd mix weighs 48lbs and is a bundle of love and personality. Elsa thrives on human companionship and enjoys cuddling up on the couch with a toy or bone. She has a big heart and craves attention, making her the perfect companion for someone who wants a loyal, loving friend.We know Elsa is good with older kids, but she is not currently fostered with younger children or cats. She’s currently working on house and crate training and is making great progress. Elsa gets along with other dogs, but we think she'd prefer to be an only dog to allow her to soak up all the attention. She loves to play, but her ideal situation would be to be close to her person—she’s happiest when she’s by your side.While Elsa is still adjusting to leash walking, so a little more training will help her with walks. She's also a bit of an escape artist and can jump pretty high, so she’ll need a secure yard where she can safely play. One of her favorite things? A half of a peanut butter sandwich before bed. It’s just one of the many sweet quirks that make Elsa such a wonderful girl.
