Welcome Maybell to CCPAL Rescue.  She is a 2-year-old Shepherd/Basenji is our best guess.  She has mostly upright ears and a curled tail.  She is a good walker on leash and would be great for a walker, jogger or hiker.  She is confident and would be fine as an only dog.  She is a nice balance between active and relaxed.  A fenced yard would be best as she would enjoy running around the yard for some of her activity needs.  She would also be fine with children.  We like them to be 8 or older.  She is shorter and more a medium sized dog.  She weighs about 40 pounds and is a good weight.  She is healthy, spayed and getting her vaccines at the rescue.  She currently is in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas.  We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.  Her adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180.  Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.   Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
