MONA is a loving and slightly shy kitty, who craves pets and would be so loyal to her adopters. It might take her a few beats to trust someone new, but then she will bond with her people and slink up for cuddles and attention. We know she would blossom in the right home, and she is very sweet and gentle. Initially she was getting fixed as part of a colony at someones home, but she was so sweet that we could not return her to a life outside with caregivers who were struggling to cope with all the cats. On average, we spend $200 to cover food, litter, spay/neuter, testing, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care or medicine needed. Adopters donate $80 or more, as they choose, to cover expenses, and help our rescue continue to treat and find homes for more cats. This flexible policy makes it possible for people to adopt more than one cat., and we are flexible with donations for multiples and barn cats.
