He is currently working on crate training (making great progress!) and learning his basic commands. Story: Shaq was rescued from a shelter locally in Washington, DC. Shaq is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. He knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with his humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Shaq is just looking for someone to be his new best furend and we know that he will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. As a puppy, Shaq will need an adopter who is committed to setting him up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising him both mentally and physically. He will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Shaq is really just the best, and we absolutely adore him. He is 100% the most cuddly dog we have fostered and is an absolute ham. He’s great with other dogs and all humans. He’s fully potty trained and only goes to the bathroom outside. He’s good on the leash, but can be a little mouthy when he plays (like a typical puppy) - we are working with him to correct this behavior and he’s responding really well to training. He has lived with kids and other dogs and does great. He’s a great, happy boy and will make a fabulous family dog or companion! The fee to adopt Shaq is $475. That covers the cost of all his vaccines, the collar he’s wearing, his transport to DC and his care in his foster home. He’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines and neutered.
