Hello, my name is Canelo & I am looking for my forever home & hope it’s with you!  I am an English/German Shorthair Pointer mix & i just turned 3!!  I am what you call a velcro dog & I will be your best friend! Need an outdoor buddy? That’s me!  Need emotional support? I’m there for you!  I’m a big boy & LOVE to run, run, run.  I never get tired of running.  I do have to admit I’m very strong & would not be suited for a family with small children.  I’m also told I have an attitude problem & tend to talk back & throw tantrums.  Oops!  I love my personal space as well as all the attention in the world, so I would be better off being your only four legged friend.  I do get a little anxious when I have other dogs around me that don’t understand personal space!  I currently live with cats & they’re ok, I tolerate their presence!  I hope you will get to know me & allow me to be a part of your wonderful family. *Please note that the Dog Team only adopts out to the immediate Tampa Bay area!
