About Scrappie NJ

Distance: 2,533 Miles
Meet Scrappie, a senior scruffy boy who was adopted from North Ocean County Animal facility but later returned when his owner became ill. Scrappie is a 13-year-old Cairn Terrier mix with a personality of his own. He is friendly with everyone he meets, enjoys being petted, and will seek attention. If the weather is nice, he loves to be outside hanging out on the deck. Otherwise, he is a couch potato. Scrappie LOVES being with people & will always nuzzle up to you on the couch or find his way onto your lap. He is a true lap dog & his foster says that she can never sit on the couch without Scrappie being beside her. Scrappie weighs 30 pounds - he is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. Scrappie is a friendly guy who loves people & visitors to the house. He is good with the young family members (ages 2, 3 and 5 years of age) who visit frequently. He does love his toys and is good at keeping himself entertained. Scrappie has been around other dogs and cats in the past and currently lives with two other dogs and a cat with no issues. Scrappie is very easy-going and enjoys hanging out with the group. Scrappie is also good on leash, easy to handle and would make a great addition to any home.  This scruffy boy still has lots of pep in this his step! He knows some basic commands like Sit, Come, Stay, Down & Shake. We feel that he would make a good pet for just about any home.  If you feel like you would like to bring Scrappie into your home, please fill out an adoption application at www.northstarpets.org and ask for him by name, SCRAPPIE NJ. The adoption fee for Scrappie is $250.
