More about the shelter
We are a foster-based rescue whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome New Mexico's abandoned animals. This state is notorious for its animal overpopulation and abuse.
Begins with an adoption application which we screen and then send to the foster. A home visit with the pet is performed n if there are deficiencies that can be fixed, we allow time for the potential adopter to remedy. We then return for recheck. A contract must be completed before the animal can be left with the adopter, and fees must be paid. The adopter can return the pet within 30 days and receive a full refund unless the animal has been abused or neglected in any way.
About Ollie 3342
Distance: 2,670 Miles
Ollie is a senior dog with specific needs—please read entire bio. Ollie is 10 years young and very spry and happy to be with people. At 12 pounds he is very leggy and trim. He is not suited for an apartment or to live with cats. Ollie would love another dog or dogs to hang out with. He would do best with someone who is retired or works from or in the home. Ollie has separation anxiety which he is very vocal about, calming down after several minutes of complaint. His foster reports he has never destroyed anything in his anxiety, just makes loud distressed vocalizations. When a person is home Ollie stays near and is happy on a dog bed where he can view his person as they read or watch tv. Adoption fee is $95.00.
