More about the shelter
Underhound Railroad was formed in 2009 by a group of friends, with a mission of rescuing innocent dogs from death row in Connecticut shelters. Underhound now tries to help wherever possible, focusing primarily in the southern parts of the country where shelters are overcrowded and the killing of adoptable dogs is prevalent. Through a network of volunteers, an undeserved death is prevented, medical needs are tended to, and transportation, as well as a loving foster family, are provided to the pups on their journey to finding their forever homes!

About Brook
Distance: 2,873 Miles
Brook is an energetic 8 month old hound mix with a boundless spirit and a heart full of joy. Brook was rescued with a old injury to her front leg but Brook doesn’t let her past slow her down. She’s a lively and playful pup who loves romping around with the other dogs in her foster home. Already potty and crate trained, Brook also knows basic commands like “sit” and “down.” Her infectious smile and enthusiastic personality make her a delight to be around. If you're looking for a spirited and happy companion who’s ready to bring fun and energy into your life, Brook would be thrilled to become your furever family member! Send in your adoption application today at https://underhoundrailroad.org/adoption-application/
Brook is currently being fostered in North Carolina and can be transported as far North as Maine to her adoptive home.
