Our goal is to fight for the plight of all companion animals so that none of them will ever
have to experience the horrors of being imprisoned in a pound system, where most of them are executed for the “crime” of being unwanted and homeless.
Animals entering our sanctuary will be given exceptional loving care and all the necessary medical attention whether short term, until adopted or for their lifetimes.
The survival of the sanctuary depends entirely on the support and donations from supporters, members and volunteers.
Through their generous giving we will be able to save countless lives in the future.
After someone has found a pet of her or his liking on our site and contacted us we will make sure to get back to that person as soon as possible.
We require a potential adopter to fill out an application.
If the application is satisfactory we will contact the prospective new parent to set up a time to meet with the pet. We also do home checks to make sure that the house or apartment the pet will go to is safe. The pet will be brought to your home at the time of the home check and if everything looks goes well the pet will be left with you. We are asking for an adoption fee and we also will have you sign a contract.
We allow a two week trial period during which the money will be refunded if it turnes out to not be a match. After the two week period the adoption fee is not refundable.

Daisy Dukes and her family, her oldest son and 2 puppies, were abandoned in a house when their person died. They were nearly starved to death when they were found by a good Samaritan who nursed the back to health. The landlord found out about them and demanded that they leave. Paw Parent was contacted and thank God we had room for all 4 of them. If you are looking for a sweet, laidback and extremely affectionate dog, look no further. She is an incredibly loving dog that loves to play tug o' war and will make you a wonderful friend. Her son Teddy Bear is very bonded with her and it would be great if they could find a home together.Daisy Duke is 5 years old and weighs 50 pounds.
