More about the shelter
Our goal is to fight for the plight of all companion animals so that none of them will ever
have to experience the horrors of being imprisoned in a pound system, where most of them are executed for the “crime” of being unwanted and homeless.
Animals entering our sanctuary will be given exceptional loving care and all the necessary medical attention whether short term, until adopted or for their lifetimes.
The survival of the sanctuary depends entirely on the support and donations from supporters, members and volunteers.
Through their generous giving we will be able to save countless lives in the future.
After someone has found a pet of her or his liking on our site and contacted us we will make sure to get back to that person as soon as possible.
We require a potential adopter to fill out an application.
If the application is satisfactory we will contact the prospective new parent to set up a time to meet with the pet. We also do home checks to make sure that the house or apartment the pet will go to is safe. The pet will be brought to your home at the time of the home check and if everything looks goes well the pet will be left with you. We are asking for an adoption fee and we also will have you sign a contract.
We allow a two week trial period during which the money will be refunded if it turnes out to not be a match. After the two week period the adoption fee is not refundable.
About Teddy Bear
Distance: 3,739 Miles
Teddy Bear and his family were abandoned in a house after their person died and were almost starved to death when they were found by a good Samaritan who took them in and nursed them back to health. But the landlord found out about them and demanded that they leave. Paw Parent was contacted and thank God we had room for the 4 of them.Teddy Bear is the oldest son of his mother Daisy Dukes and extremely bonded to her and would love to find a home where the two can stay together. He's a bit shy at first but once he warms up loves to get petted. He is an active, happy go lucky guy who loves to run and play with his mother and two younger siblings. With some leash training he will make a fantastic hiking or running buddy. He is 3 years old and weighs 65 pounds. He is neutered, has all of his vaccines and is microchipped. Please call 661-724-0642 or email us at pawparent@gmail.com if you would like to meet him.
