Cheddar is one of a litter of puppies that recently came from Texas, where they were found living on the streets and struggling to survive. They are approximately 9 months old. Cheddar is crate-trained, but they still need to learn how to walk on a leash. His foster home is working with him but he will definitely need more training in his new home.  He is working hard on his housetraining but the cold and wet weather is not his favorite.  He is very good with using potty pads though which is a big help!  They have a fully fenced yard at their foster home, which makes playtime super fun! Cheddar is very playful and does well with other dogs.  He is a good little watchdog too and will let you know if there are any 'intruders' in the vicinity!  Cheddar is very very affectionate and loving and craves lots of attention!  He is great with kids and no one is a stranger to this lovable little dog.    Since Cheddar is not fully leash trained, we will require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure his safety and security. Cheddar is neutered,  up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $475
