More about the shelter
Our organization is the oldest pet welfare one in our community founded in 1957. Our board is 100% volunteer. We operate an Adoption Center in our rural community with the help of minimal paid staff and many volunteers. Primarily we provide shelter, medical and social rehabilitation, promote S/N, responsible pet ownership education, and permanent placement for abandoned pets in need in our community.
We interview potential adoption candidates, require applications, and have a formal adoption contract. Adoption fees vary based on challenges in placing some pets, but generally run from $95 to $130
About Lea
Distance: 655 Miles
Are you looking for a friend? Well so am I! Someone to walk on the beach with? Me too! How about a cuddle on the couch and someone who will listen and not judge you? So am I! We have so much in common I'm sure we could even be BFF! I'm not looking for just anyone. Someone who will appreciate my protective nature (no doorbells needed)! I'm not only a cutie with my winning smile and big brown eyes, but I also
have substance and intelligence!
Lea has already been spayed and is looking for her forever home! The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations and deworming, Frontline application, spay or neuter surgery, collar, ID tag and a leash. A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold the pet for you for 5 days. The Shelter is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm, Friday from 10 am to 3pm, the first and third Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and by appointment.
