Beau is a very sweet young male, Irish Terrier mix who is looking for a home by no fault of his own. His owner is being deployed and cannot take Beau with him.  Beau has been with the same person for four years and he is understandably nervous about this unexpecteded life change, but once he warms up, enjoys human interaction. Because of his circumstances, for now, we think he is best in a home without young children.Beau has wiry hair and little brows that frame his soulful eyes. He gets excited when he sees other dogs and looks to play! At four years old, Beau is crate trained and no longer a puppy, so he has outgrown excessive energy, but he remains puppy-sized, fully grown at 23 lbs. Beau is a dog with a comfortable balance between wanting a walk (or two), possible run around a yard or maybe a playdate with another dog (!), and quiet time - maybe a nice long nap in or outside of his crate. We continue to learn more about darling Beau, and he continues to learn to trust his foster and her family in their home. She tells us that Beau is finding his footing and will be so happy to settle into a forever home with predictable routines, love, pets and snuggles, and fun!
