More about the shelter
Partnership for Animal Welfare (PAW) was founded in 1996 and is a all-volunteer, cat and dog rescue organization. Our mission is to place homeless dogs and cats in loving and stable homes. We focus on holding weekend adoption shows to allow prospective owners to meet with the animals and with our volunteers.
1. Interested adopter fills out adoption application.
2. Application is reviewed by Adoption Review committee within a couple of days.
3. Vet check is performed on applicant for current and past pets.
4. Home visit is conducted.
5. If the adoption is approved, a contract is signed, a donation made, and the pet goes home with the adopter.
About Scotty
Distance: 85 Miles
Scotty is a young, sweet dog who loves people and can't wait to sniff out his forever home! Scotty loves to chase balls and chew toys, he loves to play with other dogs (cats we don't know about just yet), and he enjoys running around, rolling in the grass, and chasing squirrels!Scotty loves to ride in the car and would love to go on adventures to the local park, outdoor cafe, or hiking trail. At 35 pounds, he is a great size to take along. His youthful energy make him a willing and able participant! Scotty's foster says that Scotty is super sweet, engaged, and loving. He says that "he's really good with basic commands, including 'sit' and 'paw'." Also, Scotty is learning 'stay' so he will wait patiently until his food is served before eating. Overall, "Scotty is a really good boy and very understanding." Scotty would love the chance to show you his skills and be rewarded with a special place in your heart.
